Learning Math with Simon
Join Simon, a curious and energetic kid, as he takes the lead and shows us that learning math can be an adventure! In these fun videos, Simon breaks down basic math concepts in a way that’s easy for other kids to understand. From counting and addition to shapes and patterns, Simon's lessons are all about making math relatable and exciting.
Manipulatives
Parents:
The MathLink Cubes are a versatile and effective tool for helping young students grasp core mathematical concepts. We have made an online version for your children to use. By using the cubes, children can
visually represent abstract ideas like counting and place value. For example, building a group of ten single cubes and seeing them replaced by a single "tens" cube makes the concept of grouping and carrying over in arithmetic tangible.
Each month, a new interactive math manipulative will be featured on this page to help children explore different mathematical concepts. For a more engaging experience, our in-person class offers physical and more stimulating manipulatives, also encouraging students to communicate their thinking process and work with others.
